Heckle and Jeckle Endorse Obama

Heckle and Jeckle, the talking magpies, today endorsed President Obama for re-election.  It's the first time any animated characters have made their politics public.

"Barack's our man, old chum," commented Jeckle, the British half of the duo.  "He's doing a super job.  Brilliant.  Four more years!"

"We'll be joining the President at campaign stops all summer," added Heckle.  "Come and meet the three of us.  Pose for pictures."

Heckle and Jeckle are recruiting other cartoon characters, including Foghorn Leghorn, Road Runner, and the crows from Dumbo.  They're forming a PAC - Cartoon Birds For Obama.  A July fundraiser is being organized in Toontown.
